WES Update 3-30-2020
This is Principal Mike Cronin with an update on our remote learning plans. First, thank you for the feedback that you provided on the survey last week. This is very valuable information for us as we plan our next phase. At the same time as our survey, Superintendent Anastasia was working with state-level professional associations on recommendations for long-term remote instruction. By now you should have received an email from Dr. Anastasia that outlines a number of adjustments designed to create a more developmentally appropriate and healthy balance between academic instruction, physical activity, social-emotional health, and screen-time.

WES Remote Learning Family Feedback Survey
We are just about to complete the first week of remote instruction. I have been actively monitoring and talking with staff, students and families and have seen many successes, pleasant surprises and glitches. The collaborative efforts that families, students and staff have been putting in to make this work has been nothing less than incredible. I am proud to be part of this community and it has bolstered my confidence that Pirates will continue to lead the way.

Please know we want the process of transitioning from one grade level to the next to be informative and worthwhile. With that said, we have a series of activities that will be taking place over the course of the next few months.
