WES American Legion Oratorical Contest Contestants Advance to State Competition
The Whitefield School would like to congratulate Kailea Ladeau (7th Grade) and Rachel Travers (7th Grade) for advancing to the state level of the American Legion Oratorical Contest that took place at St. Anselm College on April 13th. Ladeau placed third overall and Travers placed fifth.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and private school through grade 12. Everyone is part of a family, and FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

The White Mountains Regional School District’s System of Care office, in partnership with the Family Resource Center, Mindful Practices and the Coos Coalition for Young Children and Families will be offering a free parent and caregiver informational night; “What is all the buzz around SEL (Social and Emotional Learning),” on Tuesday, May 7th from 6:00-7:30 at the Whitefield Elementary School in Whitefield, NH.

WMRMS Spring Athletic Letter
We are excited to announce that our 2019 Middle School Spring Athletic Season is about to begin! Our first official practice of the season will take place on Monday, April 1, 2019. Softball (7th/8th Graders) will practice from 3:30 – 5:00 pm at the Lancaster School. Baseball (7th/8th Graders) will practice from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm at the Lancaster School. Outdoor Track and Field(6th-8th Graders) will start practice on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 3:30-4:30 at White Mountains Regional High School. Tennis wills start on May 7th and go every Tuesday/Thursday at Col. Town from 3:15-4:30 pm. Before the season begins, I wanted to share a few notes that will hopefully answer some of your questions.
