Hello My Name Is...

Jackie Garneau

After 30 years of having the opportunity to care for young children in her State of New Hampshire licensed Child Care Facility, Jackie Garneau pursued a Bachelor's degree in Special Education with a focus on Early Childhood and Family Studies through Granite State College.  While working on her degree, she was hired by the White Mountains Regional School District as a Title One paraeducator at the Whitefield School.  Shortly after receiving her degree, Jackie transitioned into the position of Preschool Teacher/Special Educator and has held this position for the past 15 years.  Over the years, Jackie has been involved in a number of committees and programs such as the district’s Health and Wellness committee and the district’s Mentor/Mentee program.  She currently is a member of the Whitefield School’s Safety Committee, the Coos Coalition for Young Children and Families, and hosts the Lego Club at the Whitefield School for grades 3-6.  When Jackie is not at the Whitefield School, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren, camping, hiking, gardening, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.
