Good Afternoon WES Families,

First quarter  report cards will be released tomorrow.  Grades K through two will have them emailed to parents and guardians based on information you have provided to us on your annual forms.  Grades three through eight will have their report cards uploaded and available through PowerSchool.  If you have any trouble accessing your child’s report card or are in need of a hard copy, please reach out to us.

Student pictures are happening tomorrow, and Monday for hybrid students and Tuesday for remote students.  Remote families should reach out to the school to set up an appointment time for Tuesday.

School is closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week in observance of Thanksgiving.

Students participating in winter athletics need to register on Family ID and have an annual physical on file before they start practicing.  Please contact the office with any questions.

Lastly, it is important for families to remember that if you are travelling outside of New England for Thanksgiving your child is required to quarantine at home for 14 days after your return.  It would be very, very helpful if you would call us to let us know ahead of time if this is in your plans.  This allows us to better understand and plan for the impact of student quarantining.   Instructional continuity is in the best interest of student learning but finding out after the fact does not allow for prep on the school’s part.  Please call on Friday or Monday if you are planning to travel.

Lastly, as we all stop to take stock of what we are thankful for, I want to express my thanks for your support of our school over the past few months.  This is a community effort, the success of which benefits us all.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
