Budget Hearing at 6:00 School Board Meeting to follow! Please join us for the January 7, 2026 Budget Hearing & School Board Meeting at White Mountains Regional High School Auditorium. After the budget meeting, Mark Manganiello, from the NHED Bureau of School Finance, will present these topics specifically for the towns of Carroll, Dalton, Jefferson, Lancaster and Whitefield. 1. Adequacy formula changes 2. Enrollment decline counters with aid adjustments 3. Property growth and its effect on extraordinary needs grant 4. Free and Reduced meals eligibility and its effect on adequacy aid 5. Impact of property tax base and extraordinary needs grant 6. Confusions over how new valuations will impact property tax rates School funding is complex, and this is an opportunity to ask clarifying questions to help you understand the state, local, and federal funding that affects your taxes! Good Morning  White Mountains Regional School District Families and Staff. Given the weather forecast, we are now canceling school and all after-school activities for the day. We will still have the budget hearing tonight 6PM at White Mountains Regional High School.
