WES Girls On The Run Community Impact Project
White Mountains Regional School District

Whitefield, NH: As part of the Girls on the Run program, students learn about what a community is and how they can be productive members of thier community. Twice a week for eight weeks, girls move through lessons that promote social-emotional learning concurrently with physical activity. Part of the curriculum includes choosing and implementing a community impact project  This year, the girls decided to pick up trash around The Whitefield School as a way to make an impact on their school community.
