Personal and Business Ads for Yearbook
Ad Space Now on Sale!
Our yearbook relies mostly on ad sales to cover the cost of yearbooks for the school. If you would like to support our yearbook with a business ad, please see below for size and price options. If you are interested in placing a personal ad for your 8th grade child, I have included some directions and options for you. You may design the ad and send me a .jpg, or you can explain what you would like for the ad. I can design it for you using various backgrounds, fonts, etc. and then email you the proof for final approval.

Urgent Transportation Update from WW Berry Transportation
December 13, 2021
Good Morning,
Starting Monday 12/13/2021 and continuing through Christmas break there will be no bus #133 in the afternoon. The Students that ride bus #133 will need to do as follows.
All High School Students who ride bus #92 home will need to ride bus #105 to the Whitefield Elementary School in order to transfer to bus #92.
All Students who ride bus #133 home need to take bus #90.
This change may cause some of your students to arrive home earlier or later than their normally scheduled arrival. We want to thank you all for being patient with us as we work through the nationwide driver shortage.

MS Athletic Schedule - Week Ending December 17th
MS Athletic Update: Today's MS boys team 2 basketball game in Colebrook has been canceled. Team 2 will not have practice today. Please contact the school with after school plans for your student.

Dear Grade 3-5 Families,
WES is excited to partner with WMSI (White Mountain Science, Incorporated) as an after school co-curricular program for students in grades 3-5. A letter and flyer will go home today with details about the program. All signup forms must be returned to school by Tuesday, December 14th in order for your child to participate in this year's program.
Program Details:
Grades: 3-5
Signup form due by: Tuesday, December 14th
Program Dates: Tuesdays, January 11th - March 22, 2022
Time: 3:15 pm - 4:45 pm (Please make sure a parent/guardian is available to pick up your child weekly at 4:45 pm before signing up)

Reminder: Cannon Mountain Ski/Ride Sign Up Night, Tonight, 5 pm - 7 pm, WES Lobby.
The WES PTO is excited to announce that our Annual Holiday Teacher Luncheon is back! The teachers and staff of WES felt so loved and appreciated by this small holiday gesture that the WES PTO would like to do the same again this year. If you would like to help with this event please fill out the form below to let us know if you can donate to the menu.
We are looking for potluck items such as soups, chili's, casseroles, meatballs, salads, veggie/cheese platter, fruit platters, breads, desserts, soda, juice, and bottled water.
The luncheon will take place from 10 am - 1 pm in the WES Library.
Items can be dropped off the morning of the 22nd in the office. Please make sure to label all items you would like returned. If you have any

December WES PTO Meeting - Date Change
Due to a District scheduling conflict we have moved our WES December PTO meeting to next Thursday, December 16th, 6 pm, WES Library. We hope to see you there.

Winter Wednesday Program Update:
We are excited to announce that the Twin Mountain and Whitefield Recreation Departments are teaming up to bring you the Cannon Mountain Ski/Ride Program for the 2022 season! This year Cannon will be the only mountain that is offered to our students in Kindergarten - Eighth grade. Please see the program details below:
Sign Up Night:
Wednesday, December 8th from 5 pm - 7 pm, WES
Program Details:
The six week program will begin on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 and end on Wednesday, February 9, 2022
Students in Kindergarten will require a 1:1 chaperone that can ski with them during the lesson.
Students in grades one through eight will require a chaperone to be on premises but not necessarily ski/ride. Groups and instructors will be assigned at a later date by Twin Mt. and Whitefield Recreation.
All students will need transportation to and from Cannon.
Cost Breakdown:
The six week program will cost $49
Rental equipment is available for $49 (for all six weeks)
Helmet rentals are available for $18 (for all six weeks)

Additional Winter Wednesday Programs
Now that we have our ski/ride program established we are diligently working on putting together our Winter Wednesday program for our non skiers/riders. Once complete information will be sent out for your review. We are excited to offer indoor and outdoor experiences for all of our students Pre K - 8th grade and thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we build this six week program.

Good Afternoon, WMRSD Staff and Families,
I wanted to relay that we will be having snow days and delayed starts this year if we have inclement weather. Last year, when remote learning was in place, it was seamless to engage in remote learning during bad weather. However, this year, we will be canceling school, if necessary.
I try to relay the message the evening before so that you have time to make arrangements, but, this isn't always possible!
Please know that you will receive a text-to-speech message, which isn't ideal, but we are working with our Web Site vendor so that a voice recording can be deployed. It is not possible to record live messages in real-time, so please accept my apologies ahead of time!
You will also receive the notices via text and email. The notices will be posted on the website and on social media as well.
Looks like there may be some weather coming in next week, so I wanted to be prepared with this notice.
