Middle School CTE Update: Middle School students that typically travel to WMRHS in the afternoon for CTE courses will stay on campus at WES today. They will participate in activities with our Unified Team. If you pick up your child at WMRHS in the afternoon please redirect to WES. Pick up time starts at 2:45 pm. Buses will depart normally from WES starting at 3:00 pm.

The Whitefield School Personal and Business Ads for Yearbook Ad Space Now on Sale! Our yearbook relies mostly on ad sales to cover the cost of yearbooks for the school. If you would like to support our yearbook with a business ad, please see below for size and price options. If you are interested in placing a personal ad for your 8th grade child, I have included some directions and options for you. You may design the ad and send me a .jpg, or you can explain what you would like for the ad. I can design it for you using various backgrounds, fonts, etc. and then email you the proof for final approval. Please email me with questions: mcote@sau36.org. Urgent Transportation Update from WW Berry Transportation December 13, 2021 Good Morning, Starting Monday 12/13/2021 and continuing through Christmas break there will be no bus #133 in the afternoon. The Students that ride bus #133 will need to do as follows. All High School Students who ride bus #92 home will need to ride bus #105 to the Whitefield Elementary School in order to transfer to bus #92. All Students who ride bus #133 home need to take bus #90. This change may cause some of your students to arrive home earlier or later than their normally scheduled arrival. Dear Grade 3-5 Families, WES is excited to partner with WMSI (White Mountain Science, Incorporated) as an after school co-curricular program for students in grades 3-5. A letter and flyer will go home today with details about the program. All signup forms must be returned to school by Tuesday, December 14th in order for your child to participate in this year's program. The WES PTO is excited to announce that our Annual Holiday Teacher Luncheon is back! The teachers and staff of WES felt so loved and appreciated by this small holiday gesture that the WES PTO would like to do the same again this year. If you would like to help with this event please fill out the form below to let us know if you can donate to the menu. We are looking for potluck items such as soups, chili's, casseroles, meatballs, salads, veggie/cheese platter, fruit platters, breads, desserts, soda, juice, and bottled water. The luncheon will take place from 10 am - 1 pm in the WES Library. Items can be dropped off the morning of the 22nd in the office. Please make sure to label all items you would like returned. Winter Wednesday Program Update: We are excited to announce that the Twin Mountain and Whitefield Recreation Departments are teaming up to bring you the Cannon Mountain Ski/Ride Program for the 2022 season! This year Cannon will be the only mountain that is offered to our students in Kindergarten - Eighth grade. Please see the program details below: Sign Up Night: Wednesday, December 8th from 5 pm - 7 pm, WES Program Details: The six week program will begin on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 and end on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 Students in Kindergarten will require a 1:1 chaperone that can ski with them during the lesson. Students in grades one through eight will require a chaperone to be on premises but not necessarily ski/ride. Groups and instructors will be assigned at a later date by Twin Mt. and Whitefield Recreation. All students will need transportation to and from Cannon. Cost Breakdown: The six week program will cost $49 Rental equipment is available for $49 (for all six weeks) Helmet rentals are available for $18 (for all six weeks) Please refer questions regarding this years ski/ride program to recreation@whitefieldnh.org Additional Winter Wednesday Programs Now that we have our ski/ride program established we are diligently working on putting together our Winter Wednesday program for our non skiers/riders. Once complete information will be sent out for your review. We are excited to offer indoor and outdoor experiences for all of our students Pre K - 8th grade and thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we build this six week program.
