Whitefield School is happy to bring Winter Wednesday activities back this year! Staff have created a slate of on and off campus opportunities for grades Kindergarten through eight that should appeal to everyone. The program will run in the afternoons from Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 through Wednesday, February 8th, 2023. Please refer to the catalog for descriptions of each activity. Space in each activity is on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that many activities are designed for certain grade level. Please use a separate form for each child in your family

Registration for off-campus activities will take place in-person at WES on Thursday, December 15th from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Gym.
Families who do not sign their children up for either an off or on campus activity by Thursday, December 15 will have an activity chosen for their child.

The WES PTO is excited to announce that our 6th Annual Holiday Teacher Luncheon will take place on Thursday, December 22nd! The teachers and staff of WES feel so loved and appreciated by this small holiday gesture that the WES PTO would like to do the same again this year. If you would like to help with this event please fill out the form below to let us know if you can donate to the menu.
We are looking for potluck items such as soups, chili's, casseroles, meatballs, salads, veggie/cheese platter, fruit platters, breads, desserts, soda, juice, and bottled water.
The luncheon will take place from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm in the WES Library.
Items can be dropped off the morning of the 22nd in the office. Please make sure to label all items you would like returned.

WES PTO Breakfast with Santa I Saturday, December 17th I RSVP
It’s that time of the year again! We are excited to have Santa and his helper Elves join us for breakfast at The Whitefield School.You will enjoy a tasty pancake breakfast, juice and coffee followed by crafts and stories with Santa!
But don’t forget to save room for dessert – there will be cookie decorating and a hot chocolate station to spread the Christmas Spirit! Finally, you’ll have the chance to get a picture with our Mr. Claus himself! Be sure to have your children bring their Christmas list to leave in Santa’s mailbox for him to bring back to the North Pole.

The Week Ahead I A Note From Mr. Cronin
The upcoming week will be busy here at WES. Here are a few reminders for you. The Pre-K through second grade holiday concert will be held on Tuesday the 6th. Our grade three through six and chorus concert will be held on Thursday the 8th. On both evenings, students should be at school between 5:30 and 5:45 pm and meet their teacher on the bleachers. The performance begins at 6:00 pm sharp. The shuttle will be running from the Municipal Lot downtown beginning at 5:30 pm.
On Friday evening, December 8th we will be hosting a viewing of the Polar Express beginning at 5:30 pm in the gym. This will be a fund-raiser for the eighth grade class. Refreshments will be available at all three events. For safety purposes we also remind you that all students must be accompanied and supervised by an adult during evening school events.
We look forward to seeing you next week.
WES Toys for Tots Needs Your Help!
The WES Toys for tots still has a number of families that are in need of being adopted, if you would like to adopt a family, or donate books for this year's program, please reach out to toysfortotswes@sau36.org ! Just a reminder that all donations need to be delivered to the school by December 14th, unwrapped and labeled for the family number you adopted.
